Don't get me wrong, I love vintage, and I buy them very often, too. And the fact that each piece is unique, and there would be not be another person wearing anything like it for miles around is a definitely a plus.
But don't you think that some vintage blogshops' dresses are overpriced?
I mean, these vintage stocks come from all over the world, and to be honest, we cannot be too sure of the condition. Whether it is brand new, have been worn a couple of times, or is just plain used. And *gasp*, who knows, the blogshop owner might have taken it for a spin herself.
(I've even had two bad experiences; once I received a dress with an iron burn - the seller denied any knowledge, and another time the dress was stitched up by hand, meaning that it might have been cut or come apart at some point.)
So why price them at RM70? RM80? RM90 even? I don't even pay that much for brand new dresses.
Slap me or slap the seller, I still think some vintage blogshop owners are selling the line: "it's one of a kind, so you should be paying more" too extravagantly and unreasonably. They're just vampires sucking out every cent out of us.

I wonder why some of the sellers out there easily get irritate when handling customers' inquiries?! Actually looking at the economy now, the market is rather slow. It is difficult to close sales! Even the retail shops, many walk-in customers, try and try and try many clothes/shoes, and just say bye-bye? Did you ever get scolded from the owner? No! If yes, I guess the boutique is no longer there! Or I am sure it can't survive for long! Haha... (Sorry, this is practical, not cursing. ;p)
Sometime we buyers just ask a few questions, and you seller get irritate and ignore us? You think so easy to earn money nowadays?! Pissed off? Don't show it to your customers. No EQ?
After reading this blog, I think there is a need of this course: Online Communication Skill or e-communication skill.
*Editor's note : well this was one of the main reason for this blog. To make everyone realise whats lacking in the industry.

I stumbled into this preloved blogshop and interested with her jeans and it is very cheap. So i sent out my order form and she replied me. Everything goes perfectly till the day i got my parcel. I found that the jeans is not the jeans I ordered so I quickly mailed her
Me : Dear, i already got the parcel but this is not what i ordered. I requested for item xx brand xx with size 30.but i got item yy brand yy size 28. So can I send it back to you and get the one I actually wanted?
Seller : Oh, it is our policy that no exchange once the item is sold
Me : But it is not my fault. You are the one who sent it by mistake
Seller : Oh, that jeans can stretch to size 30 as well.
Me : ..........
I already tried the jeans and it is not even fit me. I just let her slipped away as i dont want to create any chaos.
=(

I once got a customer who asked me these questions in several emails after her payment was made:
Buyer: Hi, you speak Good English. You Malaysian?
Seller: *patiently* Lol. Thanks very much and yes, I'm a Malaysian.
Buyer: Ok. You Chinese?
Seller: Er.. yes, I'm a Chinese. *???*
Buyer: But your name don't sound Chinese.
Seller: Mmm hmm.. my Mom's a bit more creative when she was trying to figure out my name I guess? *-____-*
Buyer: I see. You man?
Seller: *speechless* ... No, I'm a girl. :) Thanks for the payment made.
Can you tell me what is the relevance between me the seller, items I'm selling and my nationality / race/ gender / name Chinese or not?
*FAINTS*

Why do blog owners expose buyers' names on their blogs? For example:
Item 4: SOLD TO XXX
Item 5: SOLD TO YYY
It may be easier for the owners to know which item is for which buyer but why can't they just write it somewhere else rather than exposing it to the world? Some people hate to be exposed of what they buy online.
Slap the seller!

I find it really funny that newbie blogshops are selling their stuff for ROCKETING HIGH PRICES, even on par with really famous blogshops that have been on the market for some time.
Why ah? Do they get business at all? Just a random thought.
Slap me if you'd like!

I dont understand why some sellers didnt even bother to reply that they have got our payment, when are they going to post those items out, or get back to us regarding the tracking numbers (not after we've asked numerous times!)
I understand that sometimes sellers might be a little busy, which surprisingly they would only get busy after payment was done, before the payment they replied promptly. But please show some business ethics by getting back to us within a reasonable time after payment is made.
In my case here, the seller has not get back to me after I've made my payment 2 days ago and did not even reply my sms. I'm still waiting, waiting and waiting.

I'm not sure if you guys feel the same as i do. But i will probably won't buy from sellers that doesn't sound friendly. I can't tolerate when seller's doesn't even care less if you want to buy from them or not.
Anyway, i've sent an email to this seller earlier to place an order:-
Hey, dear. I'm interested in a few items in your blog. Below is my order:-
XXXXXX (blue) - RM 25.00
XXXXXX (Red)- RM 20.00
Is the items still available? Thanks.
So i waited for the reply until the next day but no reply. Already passed 24 hours and i thought she practice 24 hours reply policy. Maybe she missed out my email so i resend the email. Also no reply until late evening of the following day. But this is how she reply me:
Simple and clear. Not even apologising for the late reply. Doesn't sound friendly or helpful at all. Besides, they should do their job and UPDATE their site instead of replying bluntly to your customers. Not like we need you to reply us a novel-length email reply. But you should do your part to provide us a good service because you do hope that we return with more purchases in the future. We won't know it if you're busy with exams or on holidays or your car broke down or you're striked with a bad flu WITHOUT putting any notice at your site and went MIA. And you expect us to continue buying from you?
Like a chinese saying : YOU WAIT LONG LONG, LAH!

Browsing a blogshop when saw a seller posted this on the top of her post...
"Same rules girls, no further measurements are provided. Thanks :) "
What a major turnoff! Stating S-M or M-L is definitely NOT ENOUGH!

I dont understand why some people cant differentiate between dresses and skirts!
I have more than once received an email saying
"Whats the measurement of the dress?"
" what dress??? "
and it turns out, their referring to a skirt.
And not the kind that you can wear as a dress as well.
Its an ACTUAL skirt skirt that can only be worn as a skirt
and on descriptions it says " full length skirt/panel skirt/highwaisted skirt"
Just slap me for not understanding whats so difficult about differentiating between them.

I inquired about a vintage dress from a vintage blog shop last year. Her reply was late and rather nonchalant; a huge turn-off but I really liked the dress and was persistent. After a few smses and super late replies, she admitted that she was busy with her sister's wedding arrangements. After that, no reply again. After much prodding, she told me that the dress could not be sold to me because the zip was broken. I had a feeling she was only using it as an excuse, but fine, I let it slip this time.
Months later, i noticed the dress was still up for sale at the site. So I decided to try my luck again and ask the owner about it. This time, her reply was much faster and get this: the dress is STILL AVAILABLE and it is in EXCELLENT condition. I asked her again if she was sure, and she said yes. At this point, I was wtf-ing but kept calm because I really want that dress badly!
I arranged for the dress to be sent by pos ekspres on a particular day so it will reach my in time before i leave my place for a holiday. She agreed and that was that. On the day it was supposed to arrive, it did not. So I sms-ed the owner to check and she said that she sent my dress on the day I told her too. Surprise, surprise, she LIED. I only got my item when I was outstation, which resulted the pos ekspres envelope to be LEFT OUTSIDE IN MY HOUSE COMPOUND and WAS EXPOSED TO RAIN AND SHINE FOR ONE WHOLE WEEK. To make matters worse, she didn't put any protective plastic bag for the dress! And to my utter shock (and disgust), my otherwise pretty dress was COVERED IN WHITE AND BLACK MOLD! Thanks to some biological cleaning detergent, most of them were removable but some black stains are left behind. To add salt to the wound, the color of the dress faded a bit.
Now, this is also partially the postman's fault for committing such a job boo-boo, which is why I wrote to Pos Malaysia to express my concern. However, I never bothered complaining to the blog shop owner because I know it will be a waste of time and she may be "busy with her sister's wedding" again.
Why would a huge liar want to run a blog shop when she isn't even interested to sell her items in the first place?

Fellow readers that comments "pls email emailhere@xmail.com"
Do you really mean it when you say you want to know because ;
(1) You really dont want to shop at THAT blogshop even if one day THAT blogshop sells something that you've been looking for since ages ago etc that you'd rather wait for another blog to sell it, or
(2) Simply because you're curious which blogshop the poster is talking about. I mean, of course as you read through the post you'll have some idea which blog but YOU SIMPLY HAVE TO KNOW WHICH ONE because you dont want to speculate (right..)
I'm just curious yea :P

I recently purchased a white long tee from a renowned blog.
First, I need to wait for days before she replies my email. Doesn't blog owners check their email frequently?
So after a few days, my item came. I opted for Pos Ekspres. Was shocked to find out that the white tee was not covered in a transparent plastic bag which usually blog-owners will do to protect the clothes?
I frantically checked the white tee for any defects or whatsoever. True to my instinct, there is not one but FEW dots of rust marks on the white tee that I purchased. To add on, the white tee is so crumpled which makes me feel my purchase is such a letdown.
