I am clearly puking blood

I have this blogshop, and what irritates me is that my friends and I have took many CLEAR photos of the details of the clothes, and tried our BEST to explain them all in the posts, as in, if there's 5 buttons on the top, we will state there "5 buttons".

What irritated me so much was when our customers email us, they will ASK us things that are already STATED IN THE BLOG. I mean, HELLO?!? ARE YOU BLIND?!?!
For example, Top A. We stated in the blog post that Top A is 50cm in length, 40cm width. One day, BLIND Customer I emailed us, saying, "Hey can you give me the measurements (height and width) for Top A?"

I mean, I am FINE if they ask me stuff that are not stated in our blog posts, but HELLO!? It's already stated! Are they BLIND?!?! We also receive emails asking for clear pictures WHEN we already did post them up in our blog. What MORE do they want?!?!?

Next, my friends and I will state in our blog if the item is restockable or NOT. And NOT surprisingly, we have a lot of BLIND customers emailing us for an item that is SOLD OUT AND NOT RESTOCKABLE! We have stated clearly in our "Terms and Conditions" that once an item is non-restockable, it is therefore, NON-RESTOCKABLE. What in English do they NOT understand?!?!
We have already did our best in describing our clothes and these idiots are really, blind.

  2. Wei... speak for yourself. I am not the sad human you admit to be. I read.
And while you have successfully read thru the entire post and understood it enough to leave a comment, you cant tell the measurements stated? Dont call yourself human. Shy. You're a cow

  3. don't you seller has a patience in handling potetial buyers' antics? they just ONLY HUMAN, they can read, ironically they just don't aware their supidity. yes a seller would always be a COW when only you acting arrogantly & thinking that you seller is smart enough to handle your so CALLED PRESTIGIOUS BLOGSHOP....pathetic..don't compare your intelligence with stupid buyer...SLAP SELLER!

some people aren't so bright. you should pity them...hehe :P

i think its parts n parcel of doing business. Just make sure, you tell them politely that 'it is stated in the blogshop, please read it yourself'.

  6. I agree, sigh, as a seller, it's really quite annoying to face buyers such as these. It's almost incredible how these people manage to hold jobs/get a place in college! *smacks forehead* Occasionally, us sellers can tell when a buyer is really interested in the item and just trying her luck when inquiring for a non-restockable item, and we can obviously tell when another buyer on the other hand, is just too goddamn lazy to read the descriptions. To anon #3, when sellers make stupid mistakes just like buyers, we hope you'll stand by our side too for being "only human".

  7. Sellers no patience. No way to enlarge your business if you are so annoyed with customers' enquiries. :(

    ReplyDelete
  8. Darling, enquiries mean asking about something that you have no information about. If everything is stated, that's not enquiring, that's stupidity or ignorance. It shows your personality, you know.

    Just a thought.

  11. lol chill lah. eventhough maybe they're just too lazy to read, too 'stupid' or whatnot, that does not mean you have to call them idiots. as business people, act like business people la. be patient. & there's no need to call buyers stupid. that shows alot about who you are too y'know. you can meluah here but please lah.. think before you call these people names. they are human like you too.
(p/s: if they're so dumb how in the world could they even know how to use the computer and shop online?) don't be mean lah sellers. like what most of the people said above, macamana nak buat business kalau can't handle the kecohness of the buyers? sendiri yg intend to make cash and make business, must also be ready to handle all the kecohness right? relax la dear sellers. patience is the key to everything.
(unless they inquire & beg & melebih-lebih, baru lah patut you get all pumped up about them.)

    =)

  13. sorry, but boomz, why are u calling people cow suddenly? i think the first anonymous is just being sarcastic. dont get too sensitive and easily angry. touchy much?

  14. Don't call them blind. its kinda rude don't you think so? and me as a customer, sometimes i ask the seller if that dress/skirt is really not restockable anymore if i really really DO love that dress/skirt because i wan it so much. like someone mentioned above, am just trying my luck. and for clear pictures, sometimes there are really unclear pictures posted up on blogs. i've come across a few blogs like that but i've never enquired for clearer pictures before though. i'll just ignore them and scroll to the next item. If i have the chance here, I would love to post up some pictures of items that are not clear. i'm not sayin that its blur, i'm sayin for example, i bought this cardi from a seller, in her blog the model was wearin this cardi but her poses did not really show the actual design of it. eventually when i got it, it has little small ribbons on it and weird buttons on top. (wasn't shown on pictures). n now i've never even worn nor touched it. ><

  18. //n i officially hate u!... buyer slapped!

//eh i mean... seller Slapped~ got confused out of the sudden... maybe i was one of yours *un-intelligent* buyer after all

  19. I agree with Bee.

Afterall, sometimes when i did msg the seller regarding non-restockable items (cuz i really like the items! if not, i wouldnt even bother enquiring abt the non-restockable items), they'll say like "ohh yes we managed to restock it finally" or "yea we managed to restock it but this will be the last batch for restocking yea"...just trying my luck and tadaaa! ^_^

So chill la wei. benda kecik saja. n yeah, unless they get to the point of being ridiculously annoying then its okla to be mad.....

  20. Seller, you went way off limits. It's so rude of you to call your buyers blind or idiots. Haven't you heard of the sentence "Customer comes first"? I mean c'mon.. so what if buyers are ignorance or what not that they went on and on inquiring abt something that is already on the blog? It is your responsiblity to answer their questions. In order for your business to grow, you have to learn how to satisfy your customers with excellent services. I dont see how hard it is to just respond a simple question like measurements. If it's already stated in your blog, just reply your customer in a polite manner saying - Thank you for visiting our website. We have already state all measurements in our blog however here are the measurements you've asked *copy & paste from your blog the measurements*. And voila, you're done. Was such reply to your buyer that much of a hassle? And when it comes to photos, yes I agree sometimes it's really a hassle to take more photos but then again, maybe it really wasn't clear. Different human has different set of eyes and eyesights. To you it maybe clear as you've seen the item you're selling with your own eyes but to others, they've not and i dont see why it's such a shock to have buyers enquiring for more photos. Is it wrong for buyers who just wish to be sure what they are about to purchase is really something that they like, making sure that what they see is what they get? So seller, take a deep breath, chill pill and start having lots of patience. That's what I do all the time. Nothing is more important than to build a bond/relationship/connection with your clients. Something I learnt from studying biz and I practice it all the time. So should you, that's if you want your business to grow. :)

  21. I think ur post sounded very rude and pathetic too.Sellers especially need to be extra patient in handling customers cos like the old saying 'the customers r always right'.
But of course there are exceptions to this saying but that doesnt mean u have the right to label those customers blind.

    ReplyDelete
  22. i have a habit of asking seller eventhou i know its not restockable. im not trying to piss them off thou, just trying my lucks. who knows, suddenly they can restock? for sure i dont wanna miss it..again. right?

to seller, don't be so rude and calling other people blind and idiot. sorry to say but if you dont have the patience to serve your customers, then i dont think u r fit to be doing this kind of business

    ReplyDelete
  23. asking for measurement is not really idiot...
unless it became "Fraction Fail" case la..
    just copy and paste..
you all done a lot of work by taking phote..editing..post up..write some things at the bottom of the pics..
all of that hard work..i pretty sure copy and paste is much easier right!!..
i a small damn thing..you don't have to called them idiot or cow or blind..
even i'm a seller..some times i love to play the "test the buyer patience" game.but at the end i surely buy la..and at the end of the transaction(either sms after i got item thru COD or postage..)i always put.."sorry for all the trouble..just wanna test your patience..peace.." and i did get a reply saying.."hahahhaha..to be honest..you kind a pain in the ass thou..no heart feeling ya.."then i said ya..no problem..see you in the bazaar.."then only she know i'm the seller too...
so when i'm dealing with the buyer who kind a pain in the ass like me..just layan jer..
thats what we call customer service ma..

  24. Everyone should learn NOT to simply call others with such rude words. Learn some basic manners! WHAT IN MANNERS THAT SELLER & Friends DO NOT UNDERSTAND?

You have your frustrations and dissatisfactions, which most buyers/sellers can totally relate too. But all these do not justify your lack of manners. Come to think of it, you're just making yourself the same as those buyers that irk you.

If you're incapable of handling such issues from buyers, pissing you off till the extend of calling people blind, maybe you should reconsider your choice of managing/running a blogshop.

    ReplyDelete
  25. you're earning customers' money, then just answer la.

if all of your customers ask the same question, then you call everyone of them BLIND, then nobody will buy from you, then you bankrupt, then... (insert whatever possible consequence).

    LOL

    ReplyDelete
  26. Firstly, I think the person called "Hustler" is a little psycho. Got so much time to play "test yr patience" game with people?

Secondly, I think you need to keep in mind that selling is not easy. Most sellers are quite patience but most buyers just don't make the effort. They prefer skipping the 'reading' part and seeing only what they want to see.

As human beings, I think it's important to always see things from both ends. Sellers try their best and so should buyers take time to read policies, terms, and all information that sellers take time to put up.

I don't think if a buyer is 'lazy' that the buyer can still say the seller is wrong or mean or impatient or should close shop. In this post the seller is just venting. Not calling the buyer outright blind, she's just letting off some steam because the seller will have to read all these emails all day every day. It DOES get pretty frustrating.

    ReplyDelete
  27. last anonymous, even so, who gives her.him the rights to actually refer the buyers blind and idiot? plus this website is opened to public. don't you think that so called venting is wayyy too much? There are always better or rather more appropriate choice of words or sentences than to type it in a straight forward choice of words such as blind and idiot. i know it is pretty frustrating sometimes and if that is so frustrating, why dont you just type out a few text such as "kindly read the t & c on our side bar please. everything is listed there. :)" or "kindly refer to the measurements of the items on our website. We have already measured it and posted it for your convenience. Thank you" And then when a customer comes asking you about yadayada questions, all you have to do is copy & paste in the mail and click send. is it that hard to do something as simple as ABC? Even if it's troublesome, you're the seller. It is your job to answer our enquiries no matter how stupid or blind (as according to the writer of this post) it may sound. It is your responsibility to satisfy your customers. This are just the basics in business world. Takkan tak leh nak handle kot...?
