The Magazine Brat

This so-called message is actually meant for one particular blog shop selling Shawls and they've been like in this somewhat famous Islamic trendy magazine more than once. (Honestly, that's not even a good reason for being cockishly proud!)

I've tried to post this somewhere at their blog nor Facebook profile but to no avail. Can't find the right link to do so -since it's super long, the page didn't ALLOW me! Grrr.-

"Hi there. Salam. Here's the thing I want you to know. I ordered like 3-5 Syria Inners a week or so ago and umm.. I just talked to one of your team members. And she said there's no "signal" (whatever that is) about my email going in to your email so I kind of wondering if that's possible because I ordered that from your own blogshop. The order form TOLD me it has been SENT.

She said you received HUNDREDS of emails per day (not that I bothered) and it's impossible to check mine and she asked me to RESEND the order back which obviously I've forgotten which one were they. I bought so many things online and of course I lost count.

A good seller will NEVER tell "how busy they are" to their customers, if you know what I mean. Everyone is having like their own returning customers, hundreds of them too, but they cannot tell ME, or any customers, that they CANNOT check my order just because they have hundreds of customers waiting in the line. Am I right?

From the way she said to me like the fault was from ME because maybe I was THE one who "forgot" to click the 'Submit' button. Like my pricey (Oh yeah I can be cocky too!) laptop was THE one which caused this oh-no-there-is-no-signal-telling-me-about-your-email-in-my-inbox-you-need-to-resend-your-order THING. Oh yes, that's what she said *except the "oh no" part*. She wasn't really friendly. Just a firm, short replies with not many commas and punctuations. Isn't that a cliche? (I wonder what kind of signal you have? Like, some kind of police siren or something??)

Come onnnn... I've found way too many well-known, famous, recognized, popular (whichever you call yourself) blog shops selling EVERYTHING and still manage to put a SMILE on their face. A smiley face, to the least. Duh.

And I don't write this because of that, that's not the whole point. My point is, she replied me like very instantly about everything but when it comes to the end, she didn't even say "Thanks" or "Sorry". Poof. Crickets sound. Nada. And I am so frustrated with that. I knew you're one everyone-goes-to-you blog shop or boutique or whichever that is but a simple greeting means A LOT to your customers who are actually just got hit by a huge rock on the head because their want-this-and-that items they've waited for like two weeks had gotten to someone else who maybe placed the order AFTER them.

"First come, still no serve."

To the lady I talked to just now, I'm sorry I don't mean to brag this thing or blame you for everything that happened (from the day I ordered 'till a few hours ago), well that's just not me; but I just got irritated by your no thanks nor sorries. That's all. Hope you'll (everyone, that is) improve better for everyone's sake and feelings. Thank you."

Based on my experiences, I can PROUDLY (oh no, didn't I just said that again? KARMA, isn't it?) say that Malaysian people *obviously I don't want to be racist, if you know what I mean so don't slap me!* are ALWAYS have diamonds in their mouth when it comes to saying Thank You or Sorry. Thank You is the worst, I presume.

  5. I still have no clue what it's about. And I suppose it must have been typed with raged, hence the sentences are not coherent.

Something about no manners? Therefore Writer thought it was cocky?

Oh well, in the end this place does serves it purpose huh? To vent.

  6. i don't understand why purchashing something can be such an emo experience for some? its like these people have not been exposed to society. there are all types of people out there and some are just not prone to write bloody long essays peppered with sorry's, thank you's and smileys when communicating online yea. if u find the seller rude, then have abit of backbone n don't buy from her la. u may find her rude, but obviously the rest of her hundreds of other customers find that her stuff are nice enough for her 'so-called rude' manners to be overlooked. and why u need to be so defensive with the how seller made YOU feel like you were in the wrong? sometimes people are just commenting that there's been a problem and then someone oversensitive will jump to the conclusion that they are being accused..wtf? please la so goddamn self absorbed right. most ppl are running a business - buy and sell - anything that happens in between is subject to give and take la..pls remember, online u can't see faces or expressions, and not everyone thinks that being curt equals rudeness. i for one happen to prefer to have short n sweet communication with my customers.

  12. Yeah,me too.I dont get your point, really.Be patient lah and dont be so judgemental.Maybe the seller has too many emails to reply so that probably explains why she didnt reply you with satisfying answer.so chill lah babe,no point for you to be EMOTIONAL.Just resend the order back if you want the shawls so bad.no point of you complaining here, nothing is going to change.am i right?so think rationally, resend je lah.

Yeah that was difficult one to read. Story should've just said this -

"Ordered some items from this blogshop but afer a week - no reply. So I asked them about my order and the reply I received was very rude. Just because the blogshop was featured in a magazine, they are now very cocky. I am very cocky too because I have an expensive laptop. The blogshop needs to learn some manners and I need to learn how chillax".

Good or not my editing? Muahahaaaa ...

Btw Writer/Buyer are you Malay Singaporean or something?

  19. to blog writer,

have you been good yourself ? have you ever wondered why it happened to you ? (this kind of things doesnt happen to everyone everytime). self-reflection ok.

i'm just saying.. what goes around comes around.. and that saying goes to everyone.

forgive and forget. then someday other people will have mercy on you. God will have mercy on you too.

  21. lol. she was being sarcastic. thats why we lost her. dont you think she was actually posting the "message" to the owner of the blog, complaining about her other 'colleague', maybe? =P and i think only that person she was talking about will understand, despite us. haha.

she reminds me of a friend of mine who likes to use sarcasm whenever she's mad. sometimes her sarcastic skill's too good, lol, nobody gets to understand. but it hurts much if you really know what she means.

let her pass this one. she has feelings too. ^^

    ReplyDelete
  22. chill la author. i think u just get mad because u did not get the item. simply get the item from other blogshop lah. haish. i think if u were in her shoes, u ll do the same thing too. imagine hundreds email per day and u think the seller sit in front of the pcs 24 hrs everyday?

i think ur msg sounds personal.

  26. hi, i have same experience as the author of this post but in my situation the seller didnt reply my email and sms at all and FYI its not islamic stuff. so then i got piss and go to other seller (which is i would like to suggest). however in this post u want to buy "3-5 Syria Inners" which means "tudung?"(im a man actually, dont know much...huhu) and you are a MUSLIM. although most of the seller using "Customer Always Right" but in online shopping i think that doesnt fully applied. sorry to say this but if the author is a muslim, "kesabaran separuh daripada iman" or i must say "Patience is half of Faith" is well known phrase. i think you should apply this phrase to your so called emotional heart. maybe u can calm yourself even you in "period". sorry again if anything i said is wrong or make people mad...huhu
