I just received a pair of lens that I bought from a blogshop. Stated in their website "# All authentic from Korea with Anti Fake Sticker (edited recently to "only GEO lens". On their website, there were images of those so called "original" pictures of the lens too. I placed an order and since it was a ready stock item, my items arrived to me just today. I got a shock! The items appeared to me totally nude of any packaging whatsoever! No Anti-Fake stickers alright. There were only stickers at the top of the bottle to indicate the power. I feel so cheated! :(
As on the website
And this is what I received. And this seller GUARANTEES that the item is original!
And this is what she said "Hi dear, all my lenses are 100% original. Normally supplier there will post the box and label separately with the lenses. I got my own label which supply by supplier." Now does that sound convincing to you? I bought what was supposed to be the BARBIE EYE SUPER NUDY, not some label of her own! Crazy! It's totally her word against mine. How ridiculous is that? How can I not be sure that this contact lens isn't an imitation of the popular barbie lens that is made by some China company? "Buy at your own risk. We will not responsible of any problem of your eyes". That's the seller's guarantee that's contradicting her "authenticity" claim on her site. The lens is not cheap, at RM45.
UPDATES: This seller even has the cheek to display my details on her website and demanding for me to apologize to her in huge red letters for "hurting her feelings because I'm accusing her of selling fake lenses"! She accused me of being rude but you should see the things she wrote in her email to me.
Leave your email or comments if you want to know the name of this blogshop and this incredible drama.

i've read ur post on ur blog, feel sorry for you :(
ReplyDeletejust as warning, don't ever buy lens from online blogs, it's really dangerous. i always buy lenses from licensed optical shops. btw from what i've read, i think it's definitely the sellers's fault. furthermore, after encountered a problem with you, then only she changed her T&C. which is very typical if she's trying to cover up her own mess :)
i want to know! :)

ReplyDeletehey there.
ReplyDeletejust thought i'd let you girls know, buying the Korean lenses are actually alright and safe. most of the brands like Geo and Dueba have been tested by FDA and come with the health certificates as well. As long as you can ensure that the products are original, it should be fine.
www.geo21eye.com is the official site for geo medical.
Wearing any kind of lenses has its own risks anyway. As long as u keep them clean and don't wear them for too long, they're alright.
hi lemme know the blogshop? pls? thanks in advance...fionatg@gmail.com

Firstly, don't blame all on the buyer for buying contact lenses online. It's not her fault okay. Go read the full story at buyer's blogshop. If buyer keeps quiet about this, how many victims more are going to fall trap? That's de weakesses of many Malaysians. After get cheated also 'tidak apa' attitude. In your heart u'll say "this is the 1st & also last time. just let this go lah" That is how those blogshops keep on cheating on new customers!
ReplyDeleteSo however u scold the buyer, i must say i am PROUD of the buyer to stand up and demand an explanation.
We need more people like u. I support u! I support u! ;)
In her blog she wrote :
ReplyDeleteI've mailed you the certificate from Vassen (Barbie Eyes).
Ehhhh.... your bottle got no label one leh. It can be cap ayam for all you know so why is the vassen cert relevant? There's still no proof the lens are from there friend. cis!
i've bought geo lens online too. i got 3 pairs actually, and somehow only one pair had the anti fake sticker. i immediately emailed the blogshop owner and she claimed that its 100% real and she was gone for the week and her friend replaced her to help post out items so the friend must've forgotten to put the sticker on. i've worn it a couple of times and it's fine :) but my bottle wasn't empty and unlabelled like yours :/
ReplyDeleteif you guys are just curious to find out which blog is it, just google search, easy!
ReplyDeletebtw, i support u buyer. read ur story in ur blog. the seller is definitely at fault. she oso try to cover up her mess by changing the terms&condition in her blog, like u stated. i even agree with jay manuel. even show certificate, doesnt mean it's ori. for all we know, even the cert might be a fake one too.
OK, I have you guys (who read the whole thing on the original seller's blog) as my witnesses yeah! Since then, the seller has deleted everything on her site, leaving only my blog entry as "my word against hers" and making me appear like a drama queen! :') Should've screencapped that entry earlier! To update you guys, the seller is still selling that Barbie Super Nudy lens! And still no explanation from her side! Argh!
ReplyDeleteplease let me know which blogshop issit .
ReplyDeletethank you . =)
tiara_ooi1992@hotmail.com

HI author, I actually bought a few pairs of lens from this blogshop before.
ReplyDeleteBut one thing, I DID buy the Barbie Super Nudy lens from her and mine came in the correct pink packaging wor.
Also, I've read online that Barbie Lens do not come with an Anti-Fake sticker, and only geo lens. Nevertheless, I actually purchased like Geo Magic 3 tones, Angel browns and the Barbie lens from her.
They seem alright to me, mine all comes in correct packaging.
HMM, but now you're scaring me. So I don't know. Maybe she's telling the truth leh? Cause she has sold quite alot of lens if you check her trade list.
I'm not trying to help the seller but just concerned since I'm one of her buyers as well.
please let me know nathaleey@gmail.com.
ReplyDeletethank!
Hi there, I've bought Geo Lens from this blogshop before and it comes with anti fake sticker too. Sorry to see your bottle naked, but maybe there r some misunderstood between u n the seller? It's just don't make sense to me. Since she's selling authentic Geo Lens, then why would she selling other fake lens? Which seller hope to ruin their own blogshop? There's must be a reason that she's so defensive.
ReplyDeleteP/S: You'r not the drama queen, indeed the bottle is out of my expectation too. Just feel that maybe you'r a bit too harsh? What if she is selling the authentic?
i wanna know too, shaneyboy07@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteplease let me know what blogshop is this
ReplyDeleteiamrene627@gmail.com
oh man... webbie url please? =O thanks! gotta avoid this one!
ReplyDeletekazuki_yumii@hotmail.com
fut & yv: I didn't wish for this to happen at all! :( I was questioning her: why (if she claimed that she had all the original packaging) didn't she apply it on the bottle? Because at the end, I didn't get the lens that I paid for, and whether the lenses I received are genuine or not, is totally up to her to refute. And she couldn't give me any other reason than that she OEM-ed the lenses with the certificate to prove the authenticity. But honestly, I don't know what the certificate really means! Anyway, the thing is, I paid for the Barbie Super Nudy Lens, not her own label...Out of her uncontrolled anger and defensiveness, she had also highlighted my details on her site in bold red letters demanding for me to apologize to her, which led me to come to this site. Buyers should NEVER be bullied to that extent, no matter how annoying/inconsiderate you think they are. It's really too much! >.<
ReplyDeletelol yeah... just google it. you'll know :p

Aiyoh Fut..
ReplyDeleteWho tells u dat by selling one authentic item, all the other items are authentic as well? Campur sell then no one realise it lahhh.. until someone like buyer bold enough to question her.
Yes, the seller might be truthful but she is at fault too. How can she sell ori product without box and label? Come on.. u wouldn't wanna buy original LV wrapped in black plastic bag. Even if u would, you should've been informed before u make payment that the bag doesn't come with the ori dustbag and hence the cheaper price.
The case here is, buyer is not informed about it and she felt cheated. Buyer should be entitle to a refund. If she fail to get a refund, please go to open up a case at Consumer Claims Tribunal. Only RM5, no lawyer needed.
imagine u received a SARDIN canned food. Then u realize there's no label indicated what brand/expiry date/contents/etc. would u eat that sardin canned food?
ReplyDeletethe answer is NO.
same goes to the lens in NON-LABEL Bottle. Would you even wear a bottled lens which stated the degree only?
the answer is still NO.
Seller, what if i give u un-labeled chocolate? would u dare to eat it?
Your answer would be NO. (In fact u might throw it away into the bin)
Slap seller reallly HARD for slacking back the importance of the label.
Hi, can you please let me know the blogshop name? Thanks! polarbear-15@hotmail.com

ReplyDeleteHmmm...poor buyer...to what i see from picture posted, instead of getting "Barbie Eye Super Nudy Lens", she seems to hv gotten herself a pair 'Babi Mata Super Bogel Lens'...sigh nowadays sellers oso can be so rude n brainless...reli so SLAP SLAP SLAP!!!
